At GENERAL Mowers & Power Equipment we have been selling and servicing outdoor power products for over 35 years. We are a locally owned business and, thanks to our loyal customers’ support, we have grown steadily over the years. We offer our domestic and commercial customers a large range of products on display in our award-winning, air-conditioned showroom.
We do not sell a surprise in a box. Our friendly and experienced staff can answer your questions and help you make the right choice for your needs and your budget. Then we pre-deliver your new machine — we take it out of the box, assemble it, oil it, fuel it, test run it, show you the best way to use and maintain it, and help you get it into the car. All for free.
We understand that after-sales service matters just as much as the sale. Every product we sell is supported by our factory-trained technicians, a fully equipped on-site workshop and a large inventory of genuine parts on hand.
We accept most major credit cards, and offer finance terms and interest-free finance to approved customers.

Buy a machine from a box store and you get a carton and a leaflet. Buy it here and our staff take it out of the box, assemble it, oil it, fuel it, test run it, then show you how to use and maintain it — before it leaves the shop.
Free pre-delivery service
Assembled, oiled, fuelled, test-run and demonstrated at no extra charge.
After-sales support
Warranty registered at sale. If something goes wrong we lodge the claim for you.
Pick-up & delivery
We collect and return, and a trailer with ramps is free to borrow.
