Description
Tucano C are professional curved striking branch cutters, with a curved striking blade and an S lever mechanism, a forged aluminium counter-blade, and a hot-forged steel blade with a recess in the cutting blade for less friction while cutting.
The special curvature of the blade allows Tucano C branch cutters to grip the branch during cutting, and the hole reduces friction, making pruning faster and easier.
The movement assisted by the lever mechanism with S tie-rod allows Tucano C branch cutters to cut branches up to 50 mm in diameter, reducing the effort used and providing no kick-back. The special construction of these branch cutters provides a better handle opening to cutting capability ratio.
They are available in two sizes: 60 and 80 cm.
The handles are made of oval shaped extruded aluminium capable of supporting extreme tension. The anodised surface treatment makes them last longer, and two non-slip handles complete the tool.
The blade and S tie-rod (with bush) are made of a high percentage carbon steel and are hot-forged. The hot-forged light aluminium counter-blade has a lifetime guarantee against breakage, and its anodised surface treatment increases resistance over time.
Tucano C branch cutters weigh from 1015 to 1190 grams. Just like all the other pruning tools manufactured by Castellari, these branch cutters are completely interchangeable.
