It features a digital CDI ignition system with variable timing, precision camshaft design for precise valve timing and OHV design which all combine for a more fuel-efficient, higher-performing engine.
This engine is smooth in operation with a forged steel crankshaft, helical-cut gears, and an improved camshaft and muffler that reduces overall engine noise. Protected by an oil alert and dual-element air cleaner you can be ensured Honda is doing its best to increase the durability of this engine. The electric start option when connected up to a battery means that you can easily and conveniently stop and start the engine via a key.
A cast-iron cylinder bore means it can withstand long hours of use in some of the harshest conditions.
